Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Confirmed for the Wii: I Haven't Sold it Yet!

Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, the game everyone thought would never come to the U.S. is indeed coming and a playable version will be at E3 this year.

The amazing thing is that the rights to the characters in Tatsunoko belongs to somewhere around 12 or 13 companies. This is the reason Jump Ultimate Stars never came to the U.S. officially. But somewhere it's coming, so I'll be pitting Casshern against Ryu or even cooler, the mech from Lost Planet vs. Gatchaman (if I remember my animes correctly).

This is actually a much bigger deal then it sounds. My Wii has been devoid of activity for months. Not since Brawl will I enjoy something on my Wii. Madworld came and went, and Okami was just a port (still a good game, but still).

Is this a sign that Nintendo listens? We still don't know what prompted this sudden announcement, but maybe if the sales are good, it's a good indicator to what kind of games we want on the Wii.

Wii Updates to 4.0: Answers Our Prayers

For years now, Nintendo has bragged of their intimacy with it's consumers. They think they know us and know what we want. For some reason, they think we don't want storage. Nintendo is just deluding itself now.

The memory on the Wii gets cramped fast. If you like the Shop Channel, get ready to redownload all your stuff, cause the main Wii menu will fill up fast, and an SD card for storage means copying the data back and forth for use.

Now 4.0 is out and it answers our prayers in terms of storage. Now we can launch games from the SD card, so with a simple 1GB card, you can store much more and play them straight from it.

N64 games are the biggest problem, taking up hundreds of blocks at a time. Now you can store them on the SD card with plenty of room and play them too with no memory juggling.

Club Nintendo is EXCITEMENT

I have been a member on the Nintendo website since 2004. It says so on Club Nintendo when I migrated my account over to it.

If you don't already know about it, Club Nintendo has been a sweet deal in Japan to get awesome stuff you can't get anywhere else for being a loyal Nintendo consumer. You can get cool swag and even a unique game you can't get in stores!

If you're a member of the old Nintendo website and registered your games, or haven't done so but have saved the registration codes for all your Nintendo merchandise, get over to Club Nintendo and follow the instructions to earn your coins!

I'm already platinum thanks to my shopping impulses. I'm saving my 630 coins for when something cooler shows up on the rewards page (I already have the Game & Watch Collection from an import stand from Anime Expo).
