Why has Sonic lost his way?

Over at indoor heroes, they've excerpted a piece of a podcast from IGN where one of the podcasters brings up a conversation he had with a member of Team Sonic.

Let's put his words this way: So we all know Sonic is known as the fastest thing alive. Well, to make a game highlighting this strength, the developers of course have to design a level for him to run through. Considering how fast he runs, and the time need to make levels, this would mean a monster workload for the makers.

So either we get a good, fast, but short game, or a longer, paced, but ultimately bad game.

I say, if Sonic were to make the decision himself, he'd rather burn out in a blaze of glory then hobble along the safe route.

Recap session 11/24/08

Here's a recap on the loot and plundering...
__________________________________

Roc: Endless Quiver and Inescapable Weapon

Tenma: Paired Weapon

Drey: Butterfly Sandals and Repulsion Armor

Normandie: Symbol of Vengeance

Darius: Sunblade and Ruby Scabbard

Yogi: Eagle Eye Goggles

I've forgotten who took the Trollhide Bracers. Also, I'm planning on taking away your current battle standard, so be prepared. I am planning on getting Normandie something to balance it out, so don't worry.

Everyone should've gained 333 gp individually and 666 mp individually (magic points, or residuum).

Be ready, because your next encounters will definitely be prepared for 6 people, regardless of who shows up two weeks from now.

The worst is yet to come.

Anyone reading this before D&D, you'll be glad to know you'll be seeing everything, from the unique and weird to ferocious and powerful. I'll post monster cards after the session.

November 24th meeting

This Monday 24th, will be our bi-weekly Dungeons and Dragons campaign session. As of now, my own campaign has taken on one straggler, leaving the party at 5 party members.

  • Alex: Cleric
  • Ron: Ranger, archer style
  • Kelvin: Fighter
  • Bryan: Warlord
  • and introducing Jay: Ranger, two-sword style
So far, they are level 2, and if you're desperately in need of a campaign, I'm willing to risk, one more party member.
However, President Heidi is going to try her hand at hosting her own campaign on D&DD (Dungeons & Dragons Daze), so you can either carry over your old characters there, or make new ones for it.

See you guys Monday!
