Over at indoor heroes, they've excerpted a piece of a podcast from IGN where one of the podcasters brings up a conversation he had with a member of Team Sonic.
Let's put his words this way: So we all know Sonic is known as the fastest thing alive. Well, to make a game highlighting this strength, the developers of course have to design a level for him to run through. Considering how fast he runs, and the time need to make levels, this would mean a monster workload for the makers.
So either we get a good, fast, but short game, or a longer, paced, but ultimately bad game.
I say, if Sonic were to make the decision himself, he'd rather burn out in a blaze of glory then hobble along the safe route.
